At its March 26, 2024, meeting, the Highland Beach Town Commission adopted Resolution No. 2024-004, declaring each unopposed candidate for the Town Commission elected to office. Commissioner Goldberg ran unopposed for the Office of Commissioner and will serve a three-year term ending in March 2027.

Previously, at its March 24, 2023, meeting, the Highland Beach Town Commission adopted Resolution No. 2023-006, certifying the results of the Municipal Election held on March 14, 2023. Commissioner Goldberg received 434 votes and was elected to fill an unexpired one-year term ending in March 2024.

Commissioner Goldberg has a diverse and accomplished professional background. Her experience as an attorney, mediator, and business owner reflects a career marked by leadership, collaboration, analytical thinking, and consensus-building.

She graduated from Pace Law School earned her Juris Doctorate Degree, cum laude, and was admitted to practice law in multiple states, as well as before the United States Supreme Court. For more than 30 years, Commissioner Goldberg served as the principal senior litigation attorney for her law firm and also held the position of Town Attorney in her former community. In addition to her legal practice, Commissioner Goldberg established mediation services for clients and continues to maintain a professional practice. Her entrepreneurial accomplishments also include the ownership and operation of a resort ranch hotel with her spouse.

A resident of Highland Beach since 2012, Commissioner Goldberg has served on the Board of Directors of Seagate of Highland Beach. She is the proud mother of one daughter.

In her leisure time, Commissioner Goldberg enjoys ballroom and Latin dancing, traveling, golfing, and embracing the coastal lifestyle that makes Highland Beach her home.
